A limited edition picturedisc vinyl was released, as well as another special run of neon green vinyl, whereas the regular vinyl is dark green. Dave Grohl, John Konesky and John Spiker play drums, electric guitar and bass respectively on this release. It features the entire soundtrack of Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto, including show dialogue, additional lyrics and extended songs. Robot was built by Jables Jr, son of Jack Black, to help Tenacious D along an epic journey of survival in a world of desolation.
